Welcome to CrossFit Coastal!

Welcome to CrossFit Coastal!

Our program is designed around the things you do in the real world. Every day, you bend down and pick things up, you put things over your head, you sit down, you stand up, or run with your kids.

We teach you exercises from weightlifting, track & field and gymnastics, then we mix it up and scale it to your abilities. You’re always getting stronger, faster, & conditioned.

Fight Gone Bad V – 09/25/10

Fight Gone Bad began as a fundraising event in 2006. Last year the CrossFit community raised over 2 million dollars. This event will benefit three charities this year: LIVESTRONG, Wounded Warrior Project and the CrossFit Foundation.

This event is open to the public. Fight Gone Bad 5 will take place at CrossFit Coastal on Saturday, September 25, 2010.

Shawn: Stronger & Faster than ever.

Shawn: Stronger & Faster than ever.

Since my first CrossFit class, on 5/21/10, I’ve gained 14 lbs. of lean muscle and dropped two pants sizes. Even though I didn’t start CrossFit until the age of 36 I feel stronger, faster, and more powerful than I have in my entire life.

Since I started at Crossfit Coastal, the changes in my mental health, as well as my physique have been remarkable.

I have been surprised about things I’ve accomplished. I have learned that I should never think that I can’t do something because I used to think that I’d never be able to do a double-under or climb a rope…and I can do those things now!! =)

I have fun every single day at the gym. How many people can say that?

An Inspiring Story from Heidi

An Inspiring Story from Heidi

CrossFit has made me stronger in all aspects of my life and helps me to control my disease versus my disease controlling me.

Being a person with a life-threatening disease I have to think about my health more so than the average person and I’m finally doing this with passion.
