Presses & Jerks

I wanted to pass along information regarding a Camp Lejeune Marine who is a neighbor of several OSC board members.  While deployed to Afghanistan, Gunny Eden Pearl’s vehicle was hit by in IED in August and he suffered very critical injuries.  He and his family are currently in San Antonio, Texas where he is receiving treatment.  While his condition is currently stable, every day is a blessing to this family as they face a very long road to recovery.  Friends of the Pearls have come together to support them through this difficult time by organizing a 5K race in Wilmington.

Please consider participating in this event to help support one of our own, whether it be through running, walking, or making a donation.  There will be raffles, music, and food available following the race.  You will find more information on the website below.
