Getting Started
At CrossFit Coastal we offer 1-on-1 private training, small group and large group training. Our group CrossFit classes are the heart of our program and have skill requirements to ensure quality and safety while maximizing FUN! The way you get started will ultimately depend on your personal goals and your current level of fitness
You may start our CrossFit program in one of three ways: One-on-One Coaching, the CrossFit On-Ramp (small-group coaching) or by Testing Out.
One-on-One Coaching
This route is one of the most effective way to achieve your individual fitness goals. You will develop an equal balance of strength, endurance, and mobility through a variety of different exercises. Your coach will tailor the pace of instruction and the rigor of your private sessions specifically to your fitness capacity, goals and preferences.
You will find the greatest success with private coaching if your needs or goals include:
• Want a time-efficient route to join our group classes. (minimum of 3 sessions)
• Weight loss and improved body composition
• Extra accountability & privacy
• You have generally been sedentary
• You are referred to us by a physician, physical therapist or chiropractor
• You have specific performance oriented goals (triathlon, basketball, etc.)
Pricing: Our personal coaching package prices vary depending on the number and duration of sessions, but can be arranged for as little as $50 per hour. We have packages ranging from one session per month to three sessions per week.

On-Ramp to CrossFit
The On-Ramp Class is designed to expose the newest members of our community to our foundational movements in a small group setting. Our On-Ramp class meets three days a week—with an optional fourth day—for four weeks.
It is designed for the generally active, injury free individual who wants to train in one of our ongoing group CrossFit classes. The emphasis of the On-Ramp is on skill development and exposure to our basic movements. It is designed to prepare you to enter our ongoing group classes.

Testing Out
If you have been doing CrossFit for a while and feel confident and comfortable performing basic gymnastics movements, Powerlifts and Olympic lifts, you can request to test out of the On-Ramp and gain immediate access to our Group Classes.
Contact us to schedule a time to come in and demonstrate your competence with one of our coaches. We have extremely high standards, so if you are unsure as to whether you are a candidate for testing out, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of our One-on-One Coaching Sessions.
